 Lifestyle upgrade!

It is perfect for what I wanted it for! It was tedious searching for the right one for my budget, and reading reviews… great choice! I’m a truck dwellin fella, and now I’m kickin it toasty, straight stylin!It’s my first woodstove to ever own, so I made sure it would accommodate a standard piece of wood from a bundle… I also have a saw or two, somewhat handy in my rig.

 Good Jacket for light use.

Let’s start with the positives. The jacket indeed lives up to its promise of being waterproof. I’ve worn it during rain showers, and it effectively kept me dry throughout. This aspect of the jacket is crucial. However, there were a couple of drawbacks that I found somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the jacket is thinner than expected. While this might be advantageous for those looking for a lightweight option, it did make me question its durability and ability to withstand wear and tear over time. Additionally, the sizing ran a bit small for me. 

The most equipped small portable first aid kit I have seen

I was looking for a first aid kit for my emergency backpack and after much looking, i found this one. It had more items and well assorted with an excellent price when compared to others. I am very happy with my purchase.

 Great map

I bought this to help plan an upcoming trip, and we will take it along on hikes and such when we go. The map is very sturdy. It says it is waterproof and tear-resistant. Roads and hiking trails are clearly marked with all the other symbols and such that you would expect. Since there’s no Wi-Fi in Yellowstone, I’m pretty sure this will come in handy a lot.

Great Tent

Wanted a tent with ample room for an airbed and gear and this one certainly meets that criteria and has held up well through multiple uses.I wish it had more ventilation when the rainfly is on. Unless you have a tarp over it, rain will get in the tent if the windows are open because the rain fly doesn’t extend far enough past the tent. But, with the windows closed it can get quite muggy in there and since there are only two windows on either side and a small one at the door, opening them a crack does little to help. However once we started setting up a large tarp over the tent we were able to keep the windows open and were much happier with the tent. It held up during a particularly rainy camping trip, without a tarp over the tent and without any additional waterproofing or sealing, just straight out of the box, the tent did not leak once.The other large tent in the group leaked badly and the whole group ended up huddled in this tent, WITH a queen airbed and 6 sleeping bags. It was a tight fit, not exactly comfortable, but without the air bed it would have been a better fit and I can confidently say it fits 8 people in sleeping bags comfortably. Otherwise, it fits at least 2 air mattresses if you don’t need much additional room for gear. When it is just two of us, we are able to set up the air mattress, two camping chairs, a trunk, a table, a large cooler, and a ton of additional gear and move around very comfortably. The ceiling is tall, and we felt we could walk upright in pretty much the whole tent.The velcro door is incredibly useful, particularly when you are going out to use the bathroom at night. The rainfly extends further in the front of the tent creating a sort of awning you can actually fit chairs under. There is a slot for an electrical hookup if you bring a generator or stay at a site with electricity. The hook in the center of the tent to hang a lantern is also very useful, and actually held our tent fan/light pretty well. The tent does take two people to set up, but once you get the hang of it, can be set up and put away in about 15 min. For the price it was a great buy, we know a couple of people who have the same one, and they have also reported being happy with it.

Damaged bag (awesome customer support)

Update:I called Coleman just yesterday and today a new replacement tent is coming in. They notified me that I can’t get just a bag sent to me, so they decided to send everything to me and said I don’t have to ship back my current bag and tent. Wow!The least I can say is they have awesome and fast support! Just reaffirms my love for this company! They went above and beyond what I was expecting. Thanks, Coleman!Original review:I received my tent and was going to open it all up and put it together over the weekend so see if I needed to seal anything after running the hose on it. Well, I didn’t get that far before I noticed the bag was torn on the bottom. I really just need a replacement carry bag, but so far haven’t been able to reach anyone.I love my Coleman tent that I’ve had for 8 years, so I’m hoping I can get a replacement bag for my new tent, rather than returning it and having to look elsewhere since the sale is over. When trying to just exchange it, it only lets me do it for another color, which I didn’t want the green one.I’ll update the review if fixed.
