Lake Superior

We hike sections of North Country Trail in Michigan’s upper peninsula. I haven’t been brave enough to drink out of a puddle, but mainly use the Life Straw to drink water from Lake Superior. Directions say to submerge in water for 10 seconds and then take 5 quick sips. I have never had an issue of not being able to get enough to drink. The water tastes pure and clean. The next direction is to blow through the filter to clear it out (?) I am unable to blow anything back the other way. I simply shake all the remaining water out of the straw, let it air dry and pack it back up. Works perfectly every time.

 Looks and feels great!

Great quality hydration backpack. The color and materials look and feel of high quality. It has a lot of room for all the needs on a hike. I still need to use it more so I can test it which I will at an all terrain race I’ll participate soon but so far I’m very pleased with this product.

Surprisingly Spacious for its Size

For minimalist travel, this 18L Lightweight Backpack is perfect! It forces me to pack light, which is exactly what I want. But even with limited space, I can still fit all my essentials for a weekend getaway. The lightweight design is fantastic for airport travel, and the comfortable straps make carrying it a breeze. Highly recommend for minimalists who value lightweight, efficient travel!

Lightweight & Functional

I prioritize lightweight gear for my backpacking adventures, and this 19-piece utensil kit is perfect! The entire set is surprisingly lightweight and packs down small in the included case. The included carabiner clip lets me attach it directly to my backpack, saving even more space. The utensils themselves are well-made and cover all the basic cooking and eating needs. I love the multi-functional tools like the spoon with a bottle opener. This kit is a must-have for any weight-conscious backpacker who still wants a comfortable dining experience

 Hang Dry!!!

I bought these thermal underwear to wear underneath my snow pants and ski jacket while working in a very cold environment. (32 degrees) They kept my body warm and toasty. I loved the fit when they were brand new, but I made the mistake of washing them in hot water and putting them in the dryer. Not only did This cause shrinkage but pilling on the shirt as well. If I were ever to buy them again I would wash them in cold water on the delicate cycle and hang them to dry on a drying rack. They are very cute though and the inside is lined with fleece. I can see myself wearing them as a pajama set on cold rainy nights.

4.0 out of 5 stars

Incredible durability for what it costs.

The tent is very impressive at this price point. It’s door zipper is very stiff and tends to snag more that it should. Water has gotten into the tent whenever it’s been in rain. But I can’t really fault this tent for its design, I think it’s just a fact of life for done tents in general. Their walls are slanted so whatever is falling from the sky is going to make its way into it just because gravity never makes an exception to its rules.Set it up in my backyard to test it out when there was rain in the forecast. Used 4 premium stakes at the corners purchased separately, nothing else. The minor rain event I was expecting turned into a major thunderstorm with 60mph winds and tornado warnings, hail, uprooted trees. When the sirens stopped going off and we went to survey the damage, I expected to find the tent in shreds a few blocks away. Houses on my street had shingles blown off their roof and one house in town had its roof blown off. Surprisingly, it was still standing right where I set it up. There was maybe a total of two cups of water on the floor. Much much better than I expected given what nature had just put it through.A week later I took it on a camping trip, one day it rained lightly for about 5 hours. There was a small puddle totaling maybe a quarter cup on one side but that was nothing compared to the stream that came off the rainfly and right into the door as I unzipped it. I don’t know how you can truly avoid this with a dome tent design. These are very minor complaints given what the tent costs. The only other thing I would do differently is make its carrying bag bigger. I’d like to meet the guy who could get it stuffed back in there. I use it for motorcycle camping and store it in a waterproof duffel bag so it’s not a big deal to me but could be a dealbreaker for some.
