Warm, plush, great ‘bang for your buck’ purchase
First, I bought this for my 1yr+ backpacking across Australia with the 462 visa. I chose this because of the price, weight, comfort and temp rating.I’ve used this camping once and it is currently my bedding at the place I’m working at. When camping the night was chilly and it was raining when me and my friends got there, the tent I borrowed didn’t have a footprint (the tarp under the tent) so rain was seeping in through the ground a little. To lessen this I laid my hammock under my sleeping bag so my sleeping bag wouldn’t get soaked. I got nessled in my sleeping bag and due to the long day I was out like a light. Not once did I wake up from being cold (which I do even at home so that was surprising), from the rain getting in my bag or from getting knotted up in the sleeping bag. Next morning I was well rested, most of my friends had woken up cold apparently even though they had their boyfriend/girlfriend with them to keep warm. The tent in the morning on the inside did have a bit of dampness to it but this bag wasn’t wet inside at all. Here at the farm I’m working at I get accommodations but my bed is a mattress on the floor, no bedding. Nothing fancy. I’m not about to buy bedr8nt for my 6 week stay here that I don’t have space to carry around so I use this. It’s so comfortable! Very plus feeling about it. Because it’s the desert I do occasionally wake up warm but I’m not sleep sweating so idc.I got the scout sized because I stand just shy of 5’3 and didn’t want the extra weight and bulk of an adult sized sleeping bag if I didn’t need the extra space. As for build I’m more of the hour glass figure and about 140lbs if you’re wondering “ok, my height is good, hut what about hips and bust” I’m 34 across the bust but I think someone weighing about 160 at my height could fit depending on the curves going on.All and all, I love this sleeping bag and glad I chose it. I secure it to the outside of my backpack along with my hammock system, it’s great.

Great double sleeper
Girlfriend and I used this car camping in spring, when the nights were still cold. It kept us warm and toasty and worked very nicely. A lot is made of the weight, and it would be heavy and bulky for backpacking, however, I think it would be fine considering she’d save the space in her backpack where her bag would be. We’ll have to try it
