Works great
It has a beautiful flame. I am impressed with the quality of the flame running off one isobutane canister. It’s also a well made stove, solidly built and everything fits together great. The only thing that’s difficult is to get the fuel line in it and closed. I’m not sure you’re supposed to, but I got it 😅.It’s great for car camping. Or my daughter wants to use it just camping with their little bumper pull trailer. None of us like actually cooking in the trailer. I’m really happy with it. Kind of strange when you have it closed that there’s no top or bottom, messes with my brain hahaha. But it’s a great little stove.
I LOVE this so far.
This is perfect, especially for the price. If you’re looking at this, there’s a good chance we know which item your trying to find a cheaper version of. And yes, this is it. I’ve only had it out camping twice, and it preformed great. Plenty of heat. Putting a medium/light weight pan on high heat, in about a minute the pan got too hot to properly cook eggs. Other than boiling water for coffee, i haven’t used it all the open on high, because it will get too hot. I use the smaller cans of isobutane, and it hooks up easily right out of the box. I can’t speak to use with propane. There’s a main valve on the regulator, then individual valves on each burner. All seem to close completely so far. Does well with light breeze, in fact it seemed completely unaffected with a pot or pan on it. I haven’t used it in higher winds yet. It closes, folds up, locks and stays closed fairly well. This is where my only criticism is though. I keep both grates, the griddle, and the hose/regulator all inside, and it’s tricky to do that. The grates and griddle all fit perfectly. The chucky part of the regulator doesn’t really fit. You have to wrap the hose up so it’s laying the right way in exactly the right spot, or it pushes the griddle up just enough so you can’t latch it closed. I’m worried I’ll break the valve. It would be a good idea if they molded a small spot in the metal to give that a place to fit. If you take the griddle or one of the grates out it’ll fit, but that defeats the purpose. Other than that it’s perfect.
This is smaller and more powerful than my old 2 burner stovePerfect for camping with a small vehicle. I like having 2 burners but my old one took up too much space and I have a small car. This one folds up and takes up half the size. It’s more powerful than my existing one, plus it has a piezo spark igniter, you don’t have to use a lighter to get the flame going. The burner closest to the fuel is the more powerful of the 2 which is fine, but both are really powerful. You can cook with high heat in any of the burners. I buy the Coleman butane fuel you can get at any of the big box stores and it burns like a beast. Cheap too. It’s sturdy and built well. With it being so compact I plan on taking it on a canoe and camp out on an island. I can make breakfast and boil coffee at the same time.
Definitely recommend!
This little stove works like a champ! No leakage whatsoever. Very portable, definitely worth the money!
Nice to have two burners running off of the same isobutane source
I read other reviews about that said the hose didnt fit in the case. Not sure what they were doing but mine closes fine. On a recent two day camping trip I was able to boil water on one burner, and used the grill to fry spam for two people without any issues. It’s not the best for backpacking but for car camping it is heavy duty enough that you dont have to worry about it breaking.
