I thoroughly washed the inside of this container and have no leaks. I love the dark color, it will keep drinkable water longer by blocking sunlight. I ordered this to sit with my emergency supplies. Once of the biggest positives with this is it’s easily portable. In the event of an emergency, this can hold enough water to sustain four adults for a day. If you have bigger water tanks that are unable to be moved, it is simple to fill this up over and over and place it where it’s needed most.

Generic, but heavy-duty roto-molded 3 gallon water jug.The spigot can be positioned to protect it, there are excellent silicone gaskets, and it comes with a spare vent cap. Strong carrying handle. BPA-Free plastic. As with all plastics of this type, there is an odor, and the label on the side, (read it,) says to take both lids off, and let it sit to vent. Then, as I always do with new, large containers, I fill it half-way with water, toss in a tablespoon of bleach, close it up and shake it vigorously, and let it sit a bit. Then, I empty it out, give it a rinse with fresh water, and then leave it open to air dry. Great for car camping, emergency water supply, long road trips into the wilderness, or even as a water jug on a table for larger backyard parties.

I really like the handle placement. It’s easy to carry and easy to use, the hose goes on easily and although it holds some water after closing the tap it was worth having.
This thing is awesome!
I really like the design and the capacity is great! so far i have only checked the seal on it and it does not leak. I will be going to the desert and i will strap this to my atv and ride all day with it, hopefully it holds up to abuse, uv rays from the sun, etc… Will update after a few months.
Heavy duty and compact
It’s a tough container which is easier to pack than other containers I have of similar capacity.my only worry is that the spigot does not store inside the water carrier and might be susceptible to breakage when it gets hit sticking out like that. I’ll change review if any issues once the summer camping season starts.
